PHILLIPS; 1866 SMALL PRODUCTION THEN ABANDONED (VAN DERBERY 1938) DEVELOPEMENT CONSISTS OF A 300 FOOT ADIT AND 1,000 FEET OF DRIFTS, SHORT ADITS. 1922 EUREKA SILVER MINES CO RAN THE DUMP, BUT WERE DISCOURAGED (TBID, 1938). 1917 SOME SMALL ACTIVITY IN THE DISTRICT (MINING & SECENTIFIC PRESS, VLLS, 1917). SOME PRODUCTION 1936-1955. OTHER EARTY (1864) LOCATIONS WERE: UTAH, SILVER WEATY, CASH, BLUE WAVE, HIDDEN TREASURE, PATRIOT, & CURTIS: KELLER. (REICHMAN, FW, 1967) ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT

Comment (Geology): SULFIDES ARE FOUND IN A CAL./QTZ. VEIN AVERAGING 3 FEET IN THICKNESS, TRENDING N-S, 45 DEG W. FE OXIDES AND PG OXIDES STAINS PLUS CU CARBONATES THE LIMESTONE AND VEIN MATERIAL. THE LIMESTONE IS SILICIFIED.

Comment (Development): SMALL PRODUCTION IN 1866, THEN ABANDONED. EUREKA SILVER MINES, INC., RAN THE DUMP WITH LITTLE SUCESS. THERE WAS SOME ACTIVITY IN 1917 AND FROM 1936 TO 1955.

Comment (Workings): A 300-FT ADIT AND 1000 FEET OF DRIFTS, SHORT ADITS.
