Comments
Comment (Location): 2 MILES NE OF KENNEDY POINT, 2 MILES SOUTH OF THE O.K. MINE. UTM IS TO QUARTER SECTION. ; INFO FROM LAND.ST :1972
Comment (Deposit): CINNABAR OCCURS AS PAINTY FILMS AND ENCRUSTATIONS ON THE CLAY GOUGE IN THE FAULT ZONE, AND AS SCANT DISSEMINATIONS IN THE SILICIFIED RHYOLITE ALONG ITS FOOTWALL.
Comment (Development): 4 CLAIMS. THE DISCOVERERS DID A SMALL AMOUNT OF DEVELOPMENT WORK AND LEASED THE PROPERTY IN 1941 AND THE LESSEES RECOVERED ONE FLASK OF MERCURY FROM A D RESORT. THE PROPERTY WAS IDLE IN 1943
Comment (Workings): A 33-FT. LONG OPEN CUT EXPLORES A FAULT. AN INCLINED SHAFT IN THE CUT GOES DOWN 30 FEET ON THE HANGING WALL SIDE OF THE FAULT, AND AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SHAFT, A 15-FT. LONG DRIFT EXPLORES THE FAULT TO THE EAST.
