Comments

Comment (Deposit): ONE WEST-STRIKING VEIN HAS MINOR GALENA, COPPER AND TETRHEDRITE. OTHER VEINS CONSIST OF BULL QUARTZ IN OLDER SEDIMENTS WITH MINOR COPPER AND POSSIBLE TUNGSTEN MINERALIZATION. ONE VEIN REPORTEDLY CONTAINS LENSES AND SMALL PODS OF STIBNITE AND ANTIMONY OXIDES.; MODEL NAME COULD ALSO BE: SIMPLE SB.

Comment (Workings): ADITS, SHAFTS, PROSPECTS AND TRENCHING; CUTS, OPEN PITS.

Comment (Deposit): THIS RECORD HAS BEEN MERGED WITH M231146 AND D011336, WHICH HAVE BEEN DELETED. ORDER RECORDS IDENTIFIED SITE AS ANGELIA PROSPECT, BUT STAGER AND TINGLEY USE CURRENT NAME (NBMG BULL. 89).

Comment (Location): UTM IS TO SAMPLE SITE 2886, A CENTRALLY LOCATED SHAFT. . INFO FROM LAND.ST :(1972)

Comment (Production): WHETHER THIS PRODUCTION CAME FROM QUARTZ VEIN OR SILICIFIED PHYLLITE WALLROCK IS UNKNOWN

Comment (Development): ALL WORKINGS ARE ALONG QUARTZ VEINS OR ALONG CONTACT ZONE. ADIT ON EAST SIDE OF CANYON IMMEDIATELY SOUTH OF BLACK WARRIOR PEAK IS ON A W-STRIKING VEIN IN GRANODIORITE. SAMPLES FROM THE DUMP AND THE VEIN HAD MINOR SHOWS OF GALENA, COPPER AND POSSIBLY TETRAHEDRITE. THIS ADIT MAY BE CONNECTED WITH THE SHAFT FURTHER UP THE HILL WHICH WAS SAMPLED AS SITE 2886. THIS UPPER SHAFT WAS ALSO ON A QUARTZ VEIN IN GRANPODIORITE STRIKING N20E, DIPPING 55 SW. WHILE THE UPPER WORKINGS WERE VERY OLD AND SHOWED NO RECENT ACTIVITY, THEY DID CONTAIN THE BEST-LOOKING MINERALIZATION IN THIS PART OF THE DISTRICT. SAMPLE SITE 2885 WAS JUST SOUTH OF THE UPPER WORKINGS WITH MINOR COPPER AND POSSIBLE TUNGSTEN MINERALIZATION. ACTIVITY AT SAMPLE SITE 2884 IN THE EARLY OR MID 1980'S. ORIGINAL WORKINGS FOR GOLD AND SILVER.
