Comment (Development): AT LEAST 2 PHASES; OLDER WORKINGS CONSIST OF SHAFT, ADITS AND PROSPECTS, LATER ACTIVITIES CONSIST OF EXTENSIVE DOZING.

Comment (Deposit): THE VEIN CONSISTS OF QUARTZ BRECCIA WITH A MATRIX OF DARK-GRAY, FINE-GRAINED PYRITE AND OTHER SULFIDES.

Comment (Workings): SHAFTS, ADITS, PITS, TRENCHES AND DOZING.

Comment (Deposit): NBMG SAMPLE #4404 WAS TAKEN FROM THE DUMP ASSOCIATED WITH THE ADIT AND FROM A PIT IN FRONT OF THE ADIT. MANY OF THE OTHER WORKINGS HAVE SIMILAR DUMPS ALTHOUGH MOST ARE CAVED. THERE ARE MORE WORKINGS IN THIS AREA THAN ARE SHOWN ON THE MAPS.

Comment (Geology): THE HOST IS ALTERED TO A WHITE PUNK ALONG THE CONTACT WITH THE VEIN; ALTERATION EXTENDS INTO THE HOST ROCK SEVERAL FEET ON EACH SIDE.
