Mine Info
Satelite View
MRDS mine locations are often very general, and in some cases are incorrect. Some mine remains have been covered or removed by modern industrial activity or by development of things like housing. The satellite view offers a quick glimpse as to whether the MRDS location corresponds to visible mine remains.

Comments
Comment (Production): ADDITIONAL PRODUCTION OF UNKNOWN AMOUNTS OF GOLD IN LATE 1920'S AND 1930'S
Comment (Location): DEPOSIT NUMBER IS THE MAP LOCATION NUMBER FROM MF-880A. LAND STATUS VALUE CALCULATED 6-94 USING GIS OVERLAY ANALYSIS WITH BLM 1:2,500,000 SCALE OWNERSHIP STATUS MAP (1991).
Comment (Deposit): FISSURE IN INTERBEDDED SLATES AND GRAYWACKES AND IN BIOTITE GRANITE STOCKS AVERAGES 3 FEET IN WIDTH AND CONTINUES FOR AN UNSPECIFIED LENGTH. IN THE PORTION WITH SEDIMENTARY COUNTRY ROCK, THE FISSURE CONSISTS OF SHATTERED SEDIMENTS CEMENTED BY A NETWORK OF QUARTZ VEINLETS. IN THE GRANITE, THE FISSURE IS MORE COMPLETELY FILLED WITH QUARTZ, THOUGH INCLUSIONS OF GRANITE ARE STILL PRESENT. THE ORE BODY IS OFFSET BY SEVERAL FAUTS. SEVERAL SIMILAR FISSURES ARE SUPPOSED TO BE ON SITE, BUT NO POSITIVE INFORMATION INLITERATURE
Comment (Workings): SEVERAL SHAFTS AND DRIFTS ON 3 LEVELS
