Comment (Development): MINED BY DRIFTING AND HYDRAULIC METHODS IN MOST YEARS FROM DISCOVERY UNTIL AS RECENTLY AS 1952.

Comment (Deposit): GOLD MOSTLY ON BEDROCK. POORLY DEFINED SHALLOW PAY STREAK 100-150 FT WIDE. GRAVEL AND MUCK OVERBURDEN 6-15 FT. THICK. UPPER PART OF VALLEY UNPRODUCTIVE.

Comment (Geology): QUARTZ VEINS CONTAIN DISSEMINATED PYRITE. ; MAJOR.UNITS: BEDROCK MAINLY GREENSTONE AND DIABASE CONTAINING QUARTZ VEINS AS MUCH AS 18 IN. THICK. ; REG.COM: SOURCE OF GOLD THOUGHT TO BE QUARTZ VEINS IN PERMIAN TO TRIASSIC GREENSTONE.

Comment (Deposit): STREAM GRADIENT ABOUT 100 FT. PER MILE. THERE IS ADEQUATE WATER FOR HYDRAULIC MINING, BUT THE GRADE OF THE CREEK IS TOO LOW FOR SLUICE BOXES. BEST PAY CLAIM 1400 FT. ABOVE DISCOVER CLAIM ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT; 2 UNPUB REPT
