Comment (Location): USGS MF-413, LOC. 39. MINE IMMEDIATELY SOUTH OF CLEARY HILL MINE, ON THE EAST SIDE OF BEDROCK CREEK. LAND STATUS VALUE CALCULATED 6-94 USING GIS OVERLAY ANALYSIS WITH BLM 1:2,500,000 SCALE OWNERSHIP STATUS MAP (1991).
Comment (Development): MINING OR DEVELOPMENT WORK REPORTED FROM 1909-1942. WELL OVER 1,500 FT. OF UNDERGROUND WORKINGS ON 3 LEVELS. MAY HAVE BEEN SOME WORK IN 1950'S.
Comment (Deposit): QUARTZ VEINS AS MUCH AS 2 FT. THICK CONTAIN GOLD AND KIDNEYS OF STIBNITE, NEAR WHICH GOLD VALUES ARE HIGHEST. SCHEELITE IN AND ADJACENT TO VEINS AND AS A REPLACEMENT SHOOT IN LIMESTONE.
Comment (Geology): MAIN (WYOMING) VEIN DISPLACED 100 FT. TO RIGHT BY A FAULT. COUNTRY ROCK RESEMBLES SHEARED AND METAMORPHOSED GREENSTONE; IN PART, FOLLOWS A FAULT. QUARTZ YOUNGER THAN CALCITE IN VEIN. QUARTZ-MICA SCHIST, QUARTZITE, THIN LIMESTONE BEDS.
