Comments
Comment (Location): NW 1/4, NE 1/4, SW 1/4
Comment (Production): MR. CRAFTS (1934) STATED THAT IN FOLLOWING THE ORE SHOOT TO WHERE IT CONNECTED WITH THE INCLINE SHOOT ON THE 150 LEVEL, 7 CAR LOADS OF 18% CU, & 1-4 DOLLARS IN GOLD WAS SHIPED TO SMELTER.
Comment (Development): RECENT CLAIMS HAVE BEEN FILED BY MR. LAW OF DELTA WHO TELLS THIS REPORTER THAT HE HAS HELD THE CLAIMS FOR 30 YEARS. THE CAVE PROSPECT IS THE FURTHER WEST SHAFT.
Comment (Deposit): MINERALIZATION ALONG SHEAR FISSURE ZONE, ASSOCIATED WITH JASPEROID
Comment (Workings): THE 500 SHAFT CUT ORE FROM 200-280 FT. FROM THERE IT WAS CUT OFF BY A "BLACK SHALY LIMESTONE"
Comment (Geology): LIMESTONE I CAN BE CORRELATED WITH THE MASJUM LIMESTONE OF THE HOUSE RANGE
Comment (Deposit): MINING OPERATIONS STARTED ON A SHOOT OF COPPER ORE WHICH CAME TO THE SURFACE IN A JASPER-QUARTZ LEDGE ON AN E-W FAULT. THE ORE WAS WORKED BY MEANS OF AN OPEN CUT AND 2 INCLINE SHAFTS SPACED AT 100 FT. INTERVALS ON THE STRIKE OF THE ORE SHOOT WHICH INCLINED TO THE NE FOR 300 FT ON A DIP OF 20 DEG. TO A DEPTH OF 150 FT. LATER A 500 FT TWO COMPARTMENT SHAFT WAS SUNK NEAR THE E. END OF THE ORE SHOOT AND A CONNECTION WAS MADE WITH THE ORE ON THE 200 LEVEL
Comment (Commodity): ALL OF THE ORE TAKEN FROM THE 300 LEVEL WAS HIGH GRADE CU (25%) EXCEPT 100 TONS OF LOW GRADE (1933)
