Comments
Comment (Development): VARIOUS SMALL OPERATORS; MOSTLY SMALL DRY WASHING OPERATIONS.
Comment (Location): LOCATED ON THE KOFA GAME RANGE.
Comment (Production): TOTAL PRODUCTION ABOUT 2,500 OUNCES OF GOLD WITH SOME SILVER,MOSTLY EXTRACTED PRIOR TO 1900.
Comment (Deposit): THE GOLD OCCURS IN OUTWASH DEPOSITS WHICH CONSIST OF BOULDERS AND FRAGMENTS FROM THE METAMORPHIC AND VOLCANIC ROCKS. THE GOLD-BEARING DEBRIS IS SAID TO BE FROM A FEW FEET TO SEVENTY FEET DEEP OVER AN AREA OF APPROXIMATELY 60 ACRES. THE GOLD IS COARSE AND OCCURS NEAR BEDROCK. IT HAS EVIDENTLY BEEN DERIVED FROM THE DISINTEGRATION OF AURIFEROUS VEINS IN THE METAMORPHIC ROCKS AS IT IS MUCH COARSER THAN THAT CONTAINED IN THE NORTH STAR AND KING OF ARIZONA VEINS.
Comment (Workings): WORKINGS CONSIST OF SEVERAL SHALLOW PITS
