Comment (Workings): SHALLOW SHAFT INCLINED 40 E WITH A 16 FT. DRIFT. 2ND TUNNEL 30 FT. NE OF SHAFT.

Comment (Deposit): ONE UNPATENTED CLAIM. NEXT TO THE QUARTZ VEINS IS A NARROW ZONE OF FRACTURED GREENSTONE AND TALC SCHIST COMMONLY CUT BY QUARTZ STRINGERS. THE FRACTURED GREENSTONE AND IN SOME PLACES THE ADJACENT GREENSTONE WALLROCK IS MINERALIZED AND CARRIES PYRITE AND AURIFEROUS PYRITE.

Comment (Production): SOME GOOD SPECIMEN MATERIAL HAS RECENTLY BEEN OBTAINED FROM THIS MINE AND THERE HAS BEEN A SMALL BUT FAIRLY STEADY PRODUCTION SINCE 1952. WORK IS DONE ENTIRELY BY HAND AND THERE IS NO MILL ON THE PROPERTY. SMALL PRODUCTION REPORTED FOR 1954.

Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: NEXT TO THE QUARTZ VEINS IS A NARROW ZONE OF FRACTURED META-ANDESITE AND TALC SCHIST COMMONLY CUT BY QUARTZ STRINGERS. THE FRACTURED GREENSTONE AND IN SOME PLACES THE ADJACENT GREENSTONE WALLROCK IS MINERALIZED AND CARRIES PYRITE AND AURIFEROUS PYRITE. SERPENTINIZED PERIDOTITE TO E; QTZ.-DIORITE DIKE INTRUDES ALONG SERPENTINE GREENSTONE CONTACT.
