Comment (Deposit): PARALLEL VEINS, 8-15 FT. THICK GRANDVIEW VEIN EXPOSED ON SURFACE FOR 3000 FT. ALONG ITS OUTCROP. FOOTWALL OF VEIN IS GRANITIC PORPHYRY, HANGING WALL IS ANDESITE. THE VEIN IS BRECCIATED RHYOLITE PORPHYRY, HIGHLY-SILICIFIED, IRON-STAINED, HEMATITE.
Comment (Workings): PITS AND 150 FT. INCLINE W/75 FT. OF DRIFTS ON 100 FT. LEVEL.
Comment (Geology): BOTH NORTH AND SOUTH OF GRANDVIEW SHAFT ARE SOME INTRUSIVE DIKES. EAST OF THE SHAFT, THERE IS ALSO AN INTRUSIVE DIABASE DIKE THAT PROBABLY FAULTS THE VEIN NORTH OF THE SHAFT.
