ALSO, AT 200 FT. WEST OF THE PORTAL, CUT ANOTHER QUARTZ VEIN CARRYING GOLD VALUES. A RAISE WAS PUT UP ON THE VEIN SOME 30 FT. AND A SMALL STOPE STARTED. AT 250 FT. WEST OF THE PORTAL, A CROSSCUT HAS BEEN RUN NORTH 55 FT. INTERSECTING A PARALLEL DIABASE DIKE. ON THE HILL ABOVE THE TUNNEL LEVEL, A TUNNEL HAS BEEN DRIVEN S. 20 DEG W. ON A QUARTZ VEIN IN LIMESTONE, A DISTANCE OF 20 FT., THEN AN INCLINE SHAFT SUNK ON THE VEIN TO A DEPTH OF 80 FT. OLD MILLSITE.
