Comment (Deposit): A GROUP OF CLAIMS CONSISTING IN PART OF THE ST LOUIS, ECHO, LUCERNE, SUCCOR, TARTA, AND HARTFORD CLAIMS LIES ALONG THE SILVER CITY BRANCH OF THE COMSTOCK LODE. THE SILVER HILL MINING CO SANK A 1300. FT SHAFT WITH A CONNECTION TO THE JUSTICE SHAFT, AND THE DONOVAA FAMILY MINED THESE CLAIMS FOR OVER 40 YEARS. THEY ALSO OPERATED A MILL BELOW DEVILS GATE, AND ITS ANALGAMATION TAILINGS WERE THE FIRST TO BE IMPOUNDED BELOW A MILL AND CYANOIDED IN LEACHING VATS.
