LEVEL CUT 8 IN. STRINGER ZONE. AT 42 FT., IT CUT THROUGH 11 FT. OF TALC. SEVERAL OLDER TUNNELS ON NORTH AND SOUTH SIDES OF JAIL CANYON. ON CORONA NO. 2 CLAIM, NORTH OF SHAFT AND ON OPPOSITE SIDE OF RIDGE, VEIN DEVELOPED, 42 FT. VERTICAL SHAFT, 60 FT. S. OF MAIN SHAFT, SUNK ON 2-3 FT. VEIN.

Comment (Commodity): HIGH-GRADE ORE OCCURS AS MASSIVE IRON SULFIDE BANDS. WHERE EXPOSED, THESE BANDS WHERE OXIDIZED AT SURFACE TO LIMONITE, BUT WHEN PIECES BROKEN OPEN, FOUND TO CONSIST ENTIRELY OF UNALTERED SULFIDES. ON OXIDIZED FACES MAY BE SEEN OCCASIONAL SPECKS OF CUPRITE.
