Mine Info
Satelite View
MRDS mine locations are often very general, and in some cases are incorrect. Some mine remains have been covered or removed by modern industrial activity or by development of things like housing. The satellite view offers a quick glimpse as to whether the MRDS location corresponds to visible mine remains.

Comments
Comment (Production): WORKED INTERMITTENTLY.
Comment (Deposit): VEINS, POCKETS, SHOOTS
Comment (Workings): ADITS, 1500 FT APART, WINZES, DRIFTS. SHALLOW SURFACE WORKINGS.
Comment (Commodity): BEST ORE NEAR SURFACE. HIGH GRADE POCKETS SAID TO BE WHERE QTZ IS THICKEST. POSSIBLE CORRELATION OF HIGH-GRADE BUNCHES W STRINGERS BRANCHING FROM WALL ON HANGING WALL SIDE.
Comment (Geology): 2 VEINS IN TUFFS, SLATES INTRUDED BY SCHISTOSE GABBRO INTENSE SHEARING & ALTERATION CLOSE TO VEIN. TUFFS & SLATE ARE HANGING WALL OF E VEIN, FOOTWALL OF W VEIN, SUGGESTING REVERSE MOVEMENT ON BOTH VEINS. 2 OTHER SMALLER VEINS IN UPPER WORKINGS. VEIN CHANGES STRIKE SHARPLY FROM N 60 W TO N 30 W FOR 500 - 1000 FT, THEN REVERSE TO ORIGINAL DIRECTION. DIP VARIES 30 - 70 NE, FLATTER AT SURFACE. QTZ LACKING IN PLACES. POST MINERAL MOVEMENT, LITTLE GOUGE, BUT SOME QTZ CEMENTED QTZ BRECCIA INDICATES MOVEMENT PRIOR TO VEIN FILLING. SMALL POSTMINERAL TRANSVERSE FAULT. ARSENOPYRITE WAS CRUSHED BEFORE AU WAS INTRODUCED.
