Comments

Comment (Workings): MAIN TUNNEL DRIVEN IN A NORTHEAST DIRECTION FOR 1200 FT, VARIOUS OTHER DRIFTS TOTAL 1800 FT IN LENGTH. NUMEROUS SHALLOW PROSPECT PITS AND ONE SHALLOW SHAFT COMPRISE REST OF WORKINGS. SHAFT SHOWN ON MAP. TUNNEL IS OPEN AND BEING MAINTAINED FOR EXPLORATION BY SILVER KING WESTERN COMPANY

Comment (Geology): BEDDING IS AT N15E, 25NW. CONTACT OF PORPHYRITIC PHASE OF THE ALTA STOCK IS ONLY 500 FT SOUTH OF THE PORTAL. NO DIKES IDENTIFIED IN MINE AREA

Comment (Deposit): SEVERAL NORTHEAST STRIKING FRACTURES APPEAR TO HAVE SUPPLIED SOLUTIONS WHICH CAUSED REPLACEMENT-TYPE MINERALIZATION IN CALCAREOUS BEDS NEXT TO FRACTURES. DOMINANT TYPE OF MINERALIZATION IS REPLACEMENT-TYPE. THIS AREA IS SOMEWHAT UNIQUE IN THAT THE DOMINANT ORES ARE CU AND AU AND ALTERATION AT THE SURFACE CONSISTS OF SILICIFIED, IRON-STAINED BRECCIAS.

Comment (Location): SHAFT HAS UTM COORDINATES OF 4496350N, 451600E ; INFO FROM LAND.ST :1983

Comment (Deposit): Discovery Year: 1870'S

Comment (Production): ORE PRODUCED OR RECORDED IN 1909 AND FROM 1916 TO 1920

Comment (Development): SILVER KING WESTERN COMPANY IS CURRENTLY EXPLORING FOR PB-AG ORE. THEY BELIEVE THAT THERE MAY BE AN OREBODY ON THE PROPERTY
