Comment (Development): LISTED IN 1983 AS AN ACTIVE UNDERGROUND AU-CU MINE WITH ONGOING DEVELOPMENT, EMPLOYING 18 PERSONS. THE MINE WAS OWNED AND OPERATED BY AMBASSADOR GOLD MINE LTD IN 1936, AT WHICH TIME THE MILL WAS RECONSTRUCTED (A 50-TON FLOTATION PLANT). GOLD ORE WAS MINED DURING WW I, AND ALSO INTERMITTENTLY FROM 1930-1950. IT WAS PURCHASED IN 1970 BY LION HILL MINES AND DIAMOND DRILLING WAS DONE IN 1971, 1972 AND 1973 TO A DEPTH OF 400 FT, 12 HOLS ALONG STRIKE FOR 1000 FT. PACIFIC SILVER WAS DRILLING AND DEVELOPING THE 230 FT LEVEL IN 1983 (APRIL) AND THEY INCREASED STATED RESERVES FROM 300000 TONS TO 400000 TONS AVERAGING 0.2 OZ AU/T, 0.4 OZ AG/T AND 0.9 % CU WITH A POTENTIAL OF 1.5 MILLION TONS ORE.
