Comment (Geology): CREEK CROSSES BROAD BENCH NORTH OF BAKER CREEK. GRAVEL MIXED WITH STICKY YELLOW CLAY. ; MAJOR.UNITS: BEDROCK IS JURASSIC-CRETACEOUS SCHISTOSE GRIT, SHALE, AND SILTSTONE CUT BY WHITE QUARTZ VENIS. ; REG.COM: GOLD PROBABLY FROM SMALL QUARTZ VEINS IN SCHISTOSE ROCKS RATHER THAN FROM BENCH GRAVELS.
