Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: THE GRAVEL IS LOOSE; SAID TO AVERAGE $1.50 A CU. YD. THE GOLD IS VERY FINE AND IS ACCOMPANIED BY CONSIDERABLE BLACK SAND; SOME BOULDERS. BEDROCK IS SLATE.
