Comment (Production): PRODUCTION 1 TO 149 TONS. CONTAINS LESS THAN 20% MN.

Comment (Workings): 15-FT. TRENCH AND 3 SMALL OPEN PITS

Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: FRANCISCAN CHERT WITH ABUNDANT SHEARING ALONG BEDDING PLANES AND FORMING CROSS FAULTS, AND OPENINGS ARE FILLED WITH SECONDARY QUARTZ AND MANGANESE OXIDES. SOME CHERT IS HEAVILY STAINED WITH MANGANESE, AND SOME THIN BEDDED RED CHERT IS INTERBEDDED WITH RED MANGANIFEROUS SHALES.

Comment (Deposit): SEVERAL PROSPECTS ARE PRESENT, BUT ALL ARE LOW IN GRADE AND SMALL IN SIZE.
