MRDS mine locations are often very general, and in some cases are incorrect. Some mine remains have been covered or removed by modern industrial activity or by development of things like housing. The satellite view offers a quick glimpse as to whether the MRDS location corresponds to visible mine remains.

Comments
Comment (Production): U. SMALL AMT. CU. PRODUCED
Comment (Development): SMALL AMOUNTS OF COPPER ORE HAVE BEEN MINED AND SHIPPED FROM THE PROPERTY, BUT NO TUNGSTEN PRODUCTION IS RECORDED.
Comment (Workings): VERTICAL SHAFT.
Comment (Deposit): SCHEELITE OCCURS AS SCATTERED CRYSTALS, GENERALLY WITH QUARTZ, THROUGHOUT A WIDE ZONE OF BROKEN AND CONTORTED LIME-STONE OF THE COMUS FM. THE PROSPECT IS ABOUT 1 MILE FROM THE S-TOCK, AND IS THE ONLY KNOWN OCCURRENCE OF SCHEELITE IN THE DIS-TRICT OUTSIDE OF THE NARROW CONTACT ZONE AROUND THE GRANODIORI-TE. THE COPPER ORE OCCURS IN NARROW QUARTZ VEINS ON THE PROPER-TY. THE COPPER ORE AND SCHEELITE DO NOT OCCUR TOGETHER, AND TH-E AVERAGE TUNGSTEN CONTENT IS LESS THAN 0.1 % WO3. THERE ARE N-O KNOWN LOCAL CONCENTRATIONS OF SCHEELITE RICH ENOUGH TO PERMI-T SELECTIVE MINING.
Comment (Location): IN FELIX CANYON
