Comment (Geology): KANAYUK CONGLOMERATE HOSTS: 10. BANDED MASSIVE SULFIDES, 2). SULFIDE-BEARING QUARTZ VEINS & BRECCIAS, & 3). DISSEMINATED MINERALIZATION. SULFIDES INCLUDE SPHALERITE & PYRITE ALONG W/ MINOR GALENA & CHALCOPYRITE. VEINS TREND APPROX. N35 DEG W & TRACABLE FOR 300 M (C-998). 1991 BUREAU WORK IDENTIFIED AND SAMPLED FOUR MINERALIZED ZONES: SWEET LUCY VEIN, RED ANCHOR, KADY EXTENSION, AND THE ADVIL VEIN. SWEET LUCY VEIN CONTAINED UP TO 23.56% LEAD, 35.79% ZINC, 750 PPM COPPER, AND 4.04 OZ/T SILVER. THE RED ANCHOR VEIN CONTAINED UP TO 8.99% LEAD, 1.0% ZINC, 10.91% COPPER, AND 2.68 G/T SILVER. THE KADY EXTENSION CONTAINED UP TO .06% LEAD, .4%ZINC, AND 2.69% COPPER. THE ADVIL VEIN CONTAINED UP TO .44% LEAD, 22.01% ZINC, AND 3.64% COPPER. (BMOF 75-92)
