Comment (Deposit): THIS RECORD IS FOR A LARGE AREA COVERING THE PHOSPHATE MINERALIZATION IN THE GARRITY HILL AREA. THUS IT INCLUDES SECS. 25,26,27,28,33,34,35,36, IN T5N R12W; AND SECS. 2,3, 4,10 T4N R12W DEPOSIT SEQ NOS. 0300390457,0300230141 ARE LOCATED IN THIS AREA PERMIAN ROCKS ARE EXPOSED ON THE FLANKS OF 2 ANTICLINES STRIKING NORTH; OVERTURNED TOWARD THE EAST THEIR LIMBS ARE STEEP. ROCKS ARE SO BROKEN THAT A CONSIDERABLE PART OF THE PHOSPHATE IS PROBABLY SPOILED FOR MINING. MOST OF AREA IS UNDER LEASE OR PROSPECTING PERMIT TO THE STAUFFER CHEMICAL CO.
