Comment (Deposit): MR. W.A. FLOWER LOCATED THE MAGNETITE NOS. 1-48 CLAIMS IN 1944. THE BLACK SAN DEPOSIT CONTAINS ABOUT 12% TITANIUM, IN THE MINERAL ILMENITE, WHAICH IS A COMMON CONSTITUENT. THIS AREA IS INCLUDED IN THE MJ NOS. 1-299 CLAIM GROUP, ACCORDING TO 1993 BLM MASTER TITLE PLATS.
