Comments

Comment (Identification): This is an Unknown site, not part of the Umslopagus Group. It was misidentified in the original MAS database (0560070401) as Umslopagus because it is after that site in Bull. 50 but identified only by PLSS location and no name. A.B. Wilson changed the name of this record from Umslopagus to Unknown, then determined that it fit the description and location given fror W900052, Jesse Prospect.

Comment (Location): Shaft shown on topo. Supposedly there are 2 shafts.

Comment (Geology): "Malachite occurs at the intersection (contact?) of amphibolite and pegmatite. Two shafts have been sunk here." (Bull. 50, p. 49).

Comment (Reference): Terry Klein's Jesse Prospect cites "Hauff, 1986, p. 59-66" but this reference was not found in Georef or the USGS library.
