THE FOOTHILL COPPER BELT FORMATIONS MAKE A SHARP BEND NEAR MADERA AND A LARGE BODY OF TALCOSE SCHIST IS DEVELOPED. WHILE PROSPECTING THIS FOR COPPER A BODY OF PYRROHTITE ORE WAS OPENED UP WHICH IS REPORTED TO ASSAY 7 PERCENT NICKEL AND 14 PERCENT COBALT. THERE HAS BEEN NO COMMERCIAL PRODUCTION PRIOR TO 1928.
