Comment (Deposit): THE ARTICLE BY JOHNSON HAS INFORMATION ON PAST PRODUCTION COSTS, TYPE OF DRILLING, AND SOME OF THE PROBLEMS ENCOUNT- ERED.
Comment (Production): THE AMOUNT OF TONS OF ORE MINED PER YEAR: 1957-11086.METRIC TONS, 1958-16621 METRIC TONS, 1959-1872 METRIC TONS. THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF TONS OF ORE IS IN EXESS OF 29,029 METRIC TONS.
Comment (Geology): ORE-BEARING SOLUTIONS ARE PROBABLY RELATED TO THE QUARTZ DIORITE STOCK AND THE QUARTZ PORPHYRY DIKES AND SILLS.
Comment (Reserve-Resource): THE AMOUNT GIVEN AS INFERRED ORE IS FOR THE ADAMS HILL AREA. NOT JUST THE TL SHAFT. THE ORE CONTAINS AS AND CL, MAKING SMELTING DIFFICULT. THIS COMBINED WITH METAL VALUES CAUSED CLOSURE OF THE MINE IN 1959.
