THREE SHORT SHAFTS AND ONE ADIT PLUS SEVERAL TRENCHES WERE EXCAVATED BY BARRETT; ALL NOW CAVED IN. MINOR DIAMOND DRILLING BY USBM FAILED TO INTERSECT FRESH SULFIDES. DEPOSIT CONSISTS OF GOSSAN OVER SEVERAL BRECCIA OR SHEAR ZONES IN METASEDIMENTS NEAR A GRANITE CONTACT. ERYTHRITE WAS NOTED AS FINE SURFACE COATINGS ON SLATE (MALONEY, 1957).
