Comments
Comment (Location): approx CENTROID of 6 claims covering 120ac (includes patented claims) based on historic descriptions of these and surrounding properties. Klein places the centroid at 41-9-10.4 N, -106-57-3.6 W. He does not use the shaft in Sec. 27 as the location at 41-9-24 N and 106-56-12 W.
Comment (Workings): 3 shafts. Middle shaft intercepted Cu-sulfides at depth.
Comment (Geology): Mafic dike in schist, slate, and quartzite.
Comment (Location): MAS assumed Copper Rock is the shaft south of the highway, immediately south of BM 9365, in the middle of the north half of Sec. 27. Klein (W900placed the centroid of the 6 claim block farther west. ABW moved location to agree with Klein.
