Comments

Comment (Location): Original political location was record is Jefferson county. However, lat/long plots 600 m inside adjacent Silver Bow county. Coordinates are: lat/long NAD27 46-10-15N 112-31-26W (46.1708 -112.5239); UTM N5113939 E382362 Z12N; PLSS line# 1: Meridian- Montana Principal, TWNSHP 005 N, RNG 007 W, Sect 19, Sect_fract C. The PLSS coordinates agree with lat/long. The reference covers mineral resources of Beaverhead National Forest. However, this lat/long lies many miles NE of Beaverhead National Forest. Two White Swan mica properties lie 100 km SSE in Madison county. This mislocated prospect commodity is Be. Could be related. Since the location accuracy is said to be 1000 meters, the county name was changed to Silver Bow. Checking the reference would be the next step if this site became important.
