A SILICIFIED SINTER-TUFF HOT SPRINGS DEPOSIT WHICH WAS MINED FOR USE IN TUBE MILLS FOR PROCESSING GOLD ORES AT MANHATTAN, NEVADA. LOCATED AS OPAL CLAIM IN 1974 BY J.C. REED, AND D.C. HILL, MANHATTAN, NV. OPEN CAST METHOD SUED AT BASE OF LOW RELIEF HILLSIDE. CONCRETE ORE BIN, LOADING AREA SOUTH OF WORKING FEW HUNDRED FEET.
