Comment (Deposit): LOW-GRADE DEPOSIT NEAR CONTACT BETWEEN INTERMEDIATE TO MAFIO INTRUSIVE ROCKS AND METAMORPHOSED VOLC. AND SED. ROCKS. PROBABLY LARGE BUT LOW GRADE CONSISTING OF VEINLETS, DISSEM. GRAINS, AND LENSES OF MAGNETITE IN BOTH THE INTRUSIVE AND THE METAMORPHIC ROCKS (B1246) DIFFICULT TO SEPARATE TITANIUM FROM IRON. RATIO OF TITANIUM TO IRON LOWER THAN IN SIMILAR NEW YORK STATE DEPOSITS.
