Comment (Deposit): THE EDITH AND FOOLEM CLAIMS WERE PRE-1924 PLACER CLAIMS ADJACENT AND SOUTH OF GEORGEY CLAIMS, ON MANHATTAN GULCH PLACERS. U.S. GEOLOGICAL SURVEY LUMPS ALL OF THESE CLAIMS TOGETHER. IN 1981 MAMMOTH RESOURCES, VANCOUVER, B.C., EXAMINED GEORGEY NOS. 1 AND 2 PATENTED CLAIMS THAT COVER PART OF THE MANHATTAN GULCH PLACER. MR. OWEN MECHER WAS OWNER, AND IT WAS LEASED TO JACK MANHIRE AND HARRY LANG (LANG ELECTRIC). A 2 MAN, 20 CUBIC YARD PER DAY WASHING OPERATION WAS CONDUCTED WITH WATER FROM NEARBY SPRINGS AND POND. SAMPLING YIELDED FROM 0.02 TO 0.054 OUNCE PER CUBIC YARD. ACCORDING TO ASSESSORS RECORDS IN 1988 THIS PATENTED PROPERTY IS OWNED BY GOLD SEEKER RESOURCES, LTD, VANCOUVER, B.C. THIS AREA WAS BEING REWORKED IN 1993, BY LEASORS, FROM BOB BOTTOM, TONOPAH, NV.
