Comment (Deposit): NO RECORD EVER CLAIMED. NO ALASKA KARDEX. ROSSMAN NOTED RUST STAINING SIMILAR TO THAT FOUND ON THE YAKOBI ISLAND NICKEL DEPOSIT AT SEVERAL PLACES ALONG THE STOCK CONTACT. ONE OF THE MOST OUTSTANDING OF THESE STAINED AREAS IS EXPOSED ON THE SOUTH WALL OF A SMALL GLACIER 3 1/2 MILES SOUTHEAST OF MT. LOOKOUT. THIS CONTACT COULD NOT BE REACHED FOR CLOSE EXAMINATION IN 1952. AN ATTEMPT WAS MADE TO REACH THIS AREA IN 1977 BUT WEATHER PRECLUDED IT.
