Comment (Geology): Geologic Description = Gamble (1988) describes this occurrence as disseminated chalcopyrite in chlorite schist and reports one per cent copper and 15 ppm silver from one sample. Bedrock exposed in the area around the mouth of Left Fork is part of a mafic metavolcanic assemblage that Till and others (1986) consider to be Ordovician in age.
