Comment (Workings): Workings / Exploration = Prospecting included at least two shafts. There are no further reports of mining.
Comment (Geology): Age = Quaternary.
Comment (Geology): Geologic Description = There is little descriptive information on this occurrence. Reed (1938) reported prospecting which reportedly found only small amounts of gold in a 70- to 75-foot shaft. A second shaft about 600 feet farther downstream from the first shaft reportedly found nothing.
