Comment (Geology): Geologic Description = The country rocks in the area of this occurrence include Lower Cretaceous to Upper Jurassic, monotonous, intensely deformed and locally highly metamorphosed, turbidites, and Oligocene granitic and other felsic intrusive rocks that cut the strata. The deposit consists of chalcopyrite and molybdenite in the Oligocene intrusive rocks (Berg and Cobb, 1967).
