Comment (Reference): Primary Reference = Miller and Grybeck, 1973

Comment (Geology): Age = Not known. K/Ar ages for the Darby pluton are 88.3 +/- 1.5 and 92.8 +/- 2.6 Ma (Berry and others, 1976); this occurrence is younger.

Comment (Geology): Geologic Description = A highly altered, 5-foot-wide fault zone cuts intrusive rocks of the Darby pluton at this location. A grab sample from the altered fault zone contained 50 ppm Ag, 30,000 ppm As, 300 ppm Pb, and 500 ppm Zn (Miller and Grybeck, 1973). The gold concentration was not determined in this sample. The Darby pluton is a composite mid-Cretaceous granodiorite and granite (Miller and others, 1972; Till and others, 1986); K/Ar ages for the Darby pluton are 88.3 +/- 1.5 and 92.8 +/- 2.6 Ma (Berry and others, 1976).

Comment (Deposit): Model Name = Altered fault zone in granitic rocks with Ag, As, Pb, and Zn values.

Comment (Workings): Workings / Exploration = There are no known workings; exploration in the region may have included reconnaissance stream sediment geochemical and radiometric surveys.
