Comments

Comment (Workings): Workings / Exploration = Work restricted to surface sampling of outcrop during geologic mapping by USGS in the late 1970s.

Comment (Deposit): Other Comments = Site is in Gates of the Arctic National Park.

Comment (Geology): Geologic Description = This occurrence consists of a grab sample of pyrite-bearing oxidized zones in calcareous siltstone of the Devonian Skagit Limestone. Assays of the sample showed 300 ppm As and 300 ppm Sb (Nelson and Grybeck, 1980; Grybeck and Nelson, 1981). The occurrence apparently is only of local extent.

Comment (Reference): Primary Reference = Grybeck and Nelson, 1981

Comment (Exploration): Status = Inactive
