Comments
Comment (Deposit): Model Name = Chugach-type low-sulfide gold-quartz vein (Bliss, 1992; model 36a.1), turbidite-hosted gold vein.
Comment (Geology): Geologic Description = At this site a quartz vein striking northwest and dipping southwest cuts Cretaceous slate or schist. The vein is approximately 2 feet in thickness and contains arsenopyrite, pyrite, and gold. Acidic dikes occur in the vicinity. This vein may be on the same structure as the Bear (KD003).
Comment (Reference): Primary Reference = Becker, 1898
Comment (Deposit): Other Comments = No additional information is available since Becker's description.
Comment (Exploration): Status = Inactive
Comment (Geology): Age = Cretaceous or younger
