Mine Info
Satelite View
MRDS mine locations are often very general, and in some cases are incorrect. Some mine remains have been covered or removed by modern industrial activity or by development of things like housing. The satellite view offers a quick glimpse as to whether the MRDS location corresponds to visible mine remains.

Comments
Comment (Reference): Primary Reference = Balen, 1990 (OFR 34-90)
Comment (Geology): Geologic Description = The country rocks in the vicinity of the Eldridge prospect are Upper Jurassic or Upper Triassic(?) crystal-rich tuff, argillite, chert, graywacke, and limestone (Wilson and others, 1998). The only information about the deposit that it has been made public is that samples of it contain elevated values of gold, manganese, and copper, and minor nickel (Balen, 1990: OFR 34-90).
Comment (Workings): Workings / Exploration = There has been only surface sampling to date.
Comment (Exploration): Status = Inactive
