Comment (Deposit): The deposit consists of a FISSURE REPLACEMENT VEIN OF QUARTZ CONTAINING STREAKS OF ARGENTITE AND STEPHANITE WITH MINOR GOLD.

Comment (Development): The earliest reference to the mine is from 1917. The mine was active in the 1980's. The mill was scheduled to be added in 1982 to increase capacity by 600 tpd. It was listed as an active open pit Ag- Au mine in 1983 with gravity concentration and flotation mill. The operation employed a total of 14 persons in the 1980s.

Comment (Location): UTM IS TO MINE BUILDING SHOWN ON TOPO BELOW OLD WORKINGS.

Comment (Workings): INCLINED SHAFT, TWO TUNNEL LEVELS, LARGE OPEN PIT.

Comment (Economic Factors): Production during the 1960s through1977 was predominantly silica and some Ag, Au. From 1978 through1983, an unknown quantity of Ag and Au were produced. Reserves are unknown, if any.

Comment (Geology): THIN INTERBEDS OF METASEDIMENTARY ROCKS. ORE OCCURS IN A VERY LARGE QUARTZ VEIN UP TO 50 FT. THICK.
