Comment (Commodity): On the basis of sample assays.

Comment (Geology): The Marietta vein strikes NE and dips SE; it is a 6-in. quartz vein in altered granite.

Comment (Location): Adit located on NW side of Ganley Mountain at 11,700 feet elevation, in NE/4 sec. 28, T 4 S, R 75 W, about 3 miles WSW of Silver Plume.

Comment (Names): Marietta lies about 1 mile SSW of the Mary Etta group in the valley of Clear Creek; it is not clear if the Marietta is part of the Mary Etta group.

Comment (Production): Reportedly, 25 tons of ore produced about 1900.
