Comment (Workings): Site visit 8/12-2010 by A.B. Wilson and W. Heran, USGS. Some timbers, a partly submerged iron wheel (apparently one of the two wheels shown in the photo in Hausel, 1993, p. 19, fig. 20), and a concrete footing (also visible in fig. 20) are about all that remain of the old mill. There are several small pits (perhaps caved shafts or adits) well within a hundred yards/meters or so to the west of the mill remains. Mill and all prospects are long since abandoned. Workings are located in a rusty shear zone, that has been referred to gossaniferous (Hausel, 1997, p. 129).

Comment (Location): Location by GPS on the remaining concrete footing by A.B. Wilson, 8/12/2010. Agrees very well with generalized location on p. 2 of Hausel, 1993.

Comment (Deposit): No visible ore minerals found during site visit (12-aug-2010).
