Mine Info
Satelite View
MRDS mine locations are often very general, and in some cases are incorrect. Some mine remains have been covered or removed by modern industrial activity or by development of things like housing. The satellite view offers a quick glimpse as to whether the MRDS location corresponds to visible mine remains.

Comments
Comment (Location): It is centred at approximately 42o 05? N Latitude, 105o 45? W Longitude in Township (T) 24 North to 25 North, Range (R) 74 West to 75 West (Figures 4-1 and 4-2, and p. 4-1 of NI-43-101, p. 20 of 127).
Comment (General): According to the 43-101 technical report (see p. 4-2, or p. 21 of 127), "the Area of Mutual Interest for the Bootheel Project includes the Buck Point property located about four to seven miles northwest of the Bootheel property. The Buck Point property is not within the scope of this technical report and is therefore not discussed."
Comment (Location): Buck Point property is 3-7 miles NW of Bootheel property. Buck Point is in T25n, R75W, sec. 30, and T25N, R76W, sec. 24, 26, 36. (Note that there is an empty section, sec. 25, in the middle of these 4 sections)
Comment (Location): The Bootheel property comprises about 6,113 gross mineral acres consisting of one 640 acre Wyoming State Mineral Lease No 0-40774, 162 unpatented Federal lode mining claims including approximately 2,597 acres, and one mineral lease for approximately 2,516 acres of fee land owned by MJ Ranches Inc. (MJ Ranches). The lode mining claims control the subsurface mineral rights and are administered by the U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM). In addition, a surface lease with MJ Ranches provides access to 5,390 acres of the land to which BP LLC has mineral rights. Wyoming State Mineral Lease No 0-40774 includes Section 36 Township 25 North Range 75 West 6th Principal Meridian (T25N R75W). The 162 lode mining claims comprise 94 BH, 4 BH Gap, 36 Rob, and 28 TD claims located on Sections 30 and 32 T25N R74W; Section 6 T24N R74W; and Sections 2, 12, 14 and 24 T24N R75W. The mineral lease with MJ Ranches includes Sections 31 T25N R74 W; Section 7 T24N R74W; and Sections 1 and 11 T24N R75W. The individual claims and the sections under lease are listed in Appendix 1 Table 24-1 Claim List. Some of the lode mining claims are less than full size (20.66 acres) and, as they have not been legally surveyed, the total area was estimated from the claim maps.
