Comment (Deposit): COPPER MINERALIZATION ASSOCIATED WITH INTERSECTING NORTHWEST-STRIKING FAULTS AND A QUARTZ MONZONITE PLUG THAT HAS INTRUDED ALONG ONE OF THE FAULTS.

Comment (Workings): FIVE SHAFTS, THREE OF EST. DEPTH 25-30 FT., OTHER TWO OF UNKNOWN DEPTH, FOUR VERY SHORT ADITS (10-25 FT.), TRENCHES, PROSPECT PITS, BULLDOZER CUTS. THE SHAFT SYMBOL ON THE USGS 7.5 MINUTE GOLD HILL TOPOGRAPHIC MAP IS REPRESENTED BY A FILLED SHAFT.

Comment (Geology): THE INTERSECTING FAULTS STRIKE N60W AND N30W (APPROX.). THE N30W FAULT CONTROLLED ORE DEPOSITION AT THE CANE SPRINGS MINE; A QTZ. MONZONITE PLUG INTRUDED ALONG THE N60W FAULT.
