Comments

Comment (Deposit): THE SOUTHERN END OF THE FISSURE APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN LESS OPEN AND THE TETRAHEDRITE-QUARTZ VEIN PINCHED-OUT. A QUARTZ PORPHYRY DIKE IS EXPOSED A SHORT DISTANCE NORTH OF THE CLAIM, FARTHER DOWNSTREAM ; INFO.SRC : 3 FIELD OBSERV; 2 UNPUB REPT; 1 PUB LIT

Comment (Production): A SMALL AMOUNT OF DEVELOPMENT WORK WAS DONE AROUND 1900

Comment (Deposit): A NARROW TERRAHEDRITE-QUARTZ VEIN IS LOCATED ALONG AN ARCUATE, IMBRICATE MINOR THRUST OF THE OCHRE MTN. THRUST PLATE. THIS SECTION OF THE IMBRICATE THRUST STRIKES N38-60E AND DIPS 55-80 DEGREES TO THE NORTHWEST.

Comment (Workings): THE MOST IMPORTANT SEGMENT OF THE WORKINGS IS AN OPENCUT APPROX. 90 FT. LONG ALONG THE OUTCROP OF THE STEEPLY-DIPPING THRUST PLANE. TWO CONNECTING ADITS AT THE SOUTHERN END OF THE WORKINGS EXPLORED JAROSITE-LIMONITE MINERALIZATION.

Comment (Geology): NOLAN (1935, P.151) REPORTED THAT SAMPLES RICH IN TETRAHEDRITE HAD ASSAYED 150 OZ/TON, AG.

Comment (Location): LOCATED ON THE FLOOR OF ACCIDENT CANYON
