Comments

Comment (Production): PRODUCTION FIGURES ARE NOT AVAILABLE

Comment (Deposit): MINERALIZED ZONES ARE LOCATED IN FISSURES, IN ALTERED AND SHEARED WALLROCKS; ORE IS COMPLETELY OXIDIZED

Comment (Workings): ADITS AND DRIFTS; CAVED AND INACCESSIBLE.

Comment (Location): INFO FROM LAND.ST :(1977)

Comment (Geology): WALLROCKS ARE DEFORMED AND ALTERED. LIMESTONES ARE DARK GRAY, DOLONNITIZED AND SILICIFIED. SHALES ARE GREENISH GRAY TO BLACK, CARBONACEOUS, CALCAREOUS, KAOLINITIC, SERICITIC AND SILICEOUS. EFFECTS OF LIMONITIZATION ARE VERY COMMON ON THE HOSTROCKS-VEINS OF JASPEROID, QUARTZ AND CALCITE HAVE IMPREGNATED THE WALLROCKS.

Comment (Deposit): MINERALIZED ZONE LIES JUST BELOW THE LONG TRAIL SHALE MEMBER, IN THE LOWER PART OF THE 'GREAT BLUE' LIMESTONE, ON THE EASTERN FLANK OF THE OPHIR ANTICLINE. THE ONE DEPOSIT OCCURS IN OR CLOSELY ASSOCIATED WITH THE JASPEROID. THE JASPERIOD LIES IMMEDIATELY BENEATH A SILL OF 'BIRD'S EYE' PORPHYRY. THE ONE FOLLOWS THE NORTH-EASTERBY FISSURES IN THE JASPEROID. THE ORE IS PRACTICALLY ALL OXIDIXZED. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT; 3 FIELD OBSERV
