Comments

Comment (Production): PARTIAL PRODUCTION RECORD. ORE IN 1935-36 SHIPPED TO CF&I STEEL CORP., PUEBLO

Comment (Development): MINOR DEVELOPMENT DURING WORLD WAR 1 TO OBTAIN MN. OCCASIONAL PRODUCTION THRU 1950S.

Comment (Deposit): SHATTERED RAWLEY ANDESITE IS INTRUDED BY RHYOLITE AND QUARTZ LATITE DIKES. FISSURED ZONE IS SERIES OF PARALLEL QUARTZ-PYROLUSITE VEINS. PYROLUSITE OCCURS IN MASSIVE FORM, AS SHEARED GROUPS OF PRISMS, AND AS STRIATED CRYSTALS, POSSIBLY A REPLACEMENT AFTER MANGANITE. ALTHO MOST OF THE OXIDES ARE INTIMATELY INTERGROWN WITH QUARTZ, SOME NARROW, PRACTICALLY CLEAN SHOOTS HAVE BEEN FOUND.
