Comments
Comment (Deposit): THE DEPOSIT LIES ON THE UPRAISED FAULT ROCK THAT BOUNDS THE EASTERN/SOUTHEASTERN EDGE OF THE HANSEN DEPOSIT
Comment (Geology): DEPOSITS LOCALIZED AND PRESERVED BY SLUGGISH GROUNDWATER MOVEMENT IN AREA. THOSE CONDITIONS STILL PRESENT AS EVIDENCED BY ARTESIAN PRESSURE IN WELLS AND SPRINGS ISSUING FROM ECHO PARK FORMATION AND BY A PRESENT URANIUM CONTENT OF GROUNDWATER IN AREA AS HIGH AS 900 PPB.
Comment (Location): IN DRAINAGE AND VALLEY OF MIDDLE TALLAHASSEE CREEK ; INFO FROM LAND.ST :(1982)
Comment (Reserve-Resource): Deposit was drilled by Cyprus Mines Corp. in late 1970s and early 1980s. Information from Dickinson (1981). The Hansen orebody is the largest know deposit in the district.
Comment (Reserve-Resource): AVERAGE ORE GRADE 0.08% U308
Comment (Workings): OPEN PITS, DRILLING
